Realstone Systems announces factory expansion scheduled to open July 2010
TROY, MI – July 28, 2010 – As a result of exceptional growth and the need to meet the
increasing demand of Realstone Systems customers, a much anticipated factory expansion
project is nearing completion.
By July of 2010 an additional production facility will open in Asia. “With this new facility
coming on-line, we will significantly increase our production capacity,” said Steve Hodges,
EVP of Realstone Systems.
“Our commitment to producing a quality natural stone product, exceptional customer service
and timely delivery has helped us establish a loyal and committed customer base,” says
Mike Quarton, company President.
“This new 20 acre facility, located near our existing facilities will allow us to leverage our
current management, quality inspectors and supply chain expertise.” Says Quarton.
“These, coupled with our strong attention to customer and brand equity allow Realstone to
stand apart from the smaller, inexperienced, and less capable producers who generally exit
the market within months of entering,” adds Quarton. “These producers tend to be
opportunistic and don’t understand what it takes to succeed in North America,” said Hodges.
